Well with 6 weeks, and over 500 hours into a show car me and 3 other guys built we are finally heading out to Vegas for the SEMA convention today. If you dont know what SEMA is.. check out www.semashow.com Its the worlds largest aftermarket car show. To have a car in the show, its invite only so its a pretty big deal to have a car in it. My friends business is the first business from Kansas to have a car at SEMA, so thats also pretty cool. We were sponsered by RCA mobile, Martin Bros Alloys, Kinetic, Tsunami cables and made a kick ass scion. Its got 13 monitors in the car, and is almost 100% handbuilt. Ill have some pics on my website when we get back. I dont think we can publicly display pics of the car yet because its a pretty big reveal for RCA out there, since this is their first year to have a booth at SEMA as well. Ill also get some video of the show as well. It took a lot of hours to build this car, and we were still bolting stuff on and putting it together late last night. We leave here in about 4 hours, so wish us luck. If all goes well, and we pick up some sponsers for next year, the Hearse is going to be done for next years show.

It was a blast!! The car looked good. Pics of it online are here www.sportruck.com/events/sema07/7/2.html Its the black and red Scion 3rd row down, starting to the right of the Lowrance offroader then the next 7 pics of it as well (interior) Whoever took the pics didnt use a flash, so the candy paint hides almost all of my airbrushing on the interior and under the hood. But that is what we were busting our humps on for the last 4 weeks to get done. RCA was highly impressed. We are slated to make 5 magazines, mostly tuner magazines, but we will see if any of them actually show up in Kansas to do a photo shoot.

I'm amazed I would also think it would be an honor just to have your car in that show.

yeah, I am super happy about having a car in the show. There are a ton of painters and airbrush artists that dream of having a car at SEMA, but not many get to. I thought long and hard about it, and I decided not to do the hearse next year. I want it to stay a driver, and not be turned into a trailer queen.
