Still assembling. I keep buying parts. I think I'm about done buying. Ordered my long travel front end it will be 2-3 weeks before I get it. The no link rear swingarm should be here anyday. I did figure out this morning that I need a throttle cable that will work with twist throttle and the 38mm airstryker. i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss78/smokinwrench/rbuild3.jpg

I'm not sure. I don't think I wanna know. I would bet I could have bought a brand new quad for what I have in it. New quad wouldn't have as good of suspension as this is gonna have.

I really watch my spending on machines anymore. If I find I am getting more into it, then I can resale it for, I usually bail and sell. I just got sick of losing money on deals.

I have bougth everything cheap enough that if I wanted to get out of it, I could part it out and be just fine, probably come out ahead.

its just the hassle of parting out machines though. Trying to keep track of the parts, and make sure people pay, and then ship it all. Its a big hassle,.. almost not worth the extra money.

I was busy today. Still waiting on a bunch of parts, a-arms, reeds, chain, lid for 4 gallon tank. I don't have much time so I decided to assemble it with stock a arms that way I can start jetting next weekend as long as I get my twist throttle and reeds in this week.

Bad luck is still happening.
Found out today, ASR never got an email from paypal saying they recieved a payment, so my a-arms have not been built yet.
My 2nd set of reeds were to be delivered today didn't get put on the ups truck, luckily a guy that works for ups that must live here in town dropped them by about 7:00 tonight. So I just came in from the garage assembling it. Rad valve with a spacer plate will not fit, moves everythign to high so you can't install intake tube. Then the rad valve will not fit in the ESR cylinder without modifications. After having the intake on and off 5-6 times I finally got it. Correct throttle is still MIA so it took me awhile to rig a throttle on it so I can get it running for jetting. Now I can't get the rear brakes to bleed.

At least you can have a running machine for sure by the ride. Hopefully your A Arms will get done in time for you to have your machine like you want it.

It runs we went to the mother inlaws for easter and we loaded up all the machines so kids could ride. I spent Friday afternoon jetting and tinkering. I started at a 200mj and needle the richest clip. So far I'm down to a 170 main and 3rd notch on needle. When I leaned out needle it quite starting when it is cold, pull it five foot and ti will fire, suppose I need a bigger pilot jet now. It is still very rich but I'm jetting nice and slow, don't need to blow it up. Even being rich as hell it will pull a wheelie in forth quicker then you can set it back down. Hopefully by next weekend I can have it real close then put it on dyno for final tuning.

Just got back from ridign at our sandpit. I have jetting fairly close now. My seat of the pants dyno tells me this thing is way faster then my 525 was. I can't keep the fornt end on the groudn with turf tamers in the sand I can't imagine how its gonna be with paddles.
