I am going to sell the R it is in great shape, and runs awesome. The engine is bored, and has FMF FATTY pipe and silencer, bigger carb, K&N Filter and outerwear. The frame and swing arm are powder coated, and has polished cases. My trike is the most reliable toy I've ever had. Only reason for getting rid of it is to find a quad that me and my 2 year old son can go have fun on. Asking $2,000 or trade for a good reliable Quad. Can e-mail pics.

That didn't take too long. Congrats on the sale. Hope you got what you wanted out of it. So you got another machine to hit the dunes with now? I'm gonna be itchin for a dune trip end of June or July, hopefully that'll give me some time to buy plastics for the Z and get the 500 running. Still gotta buy paddles for it too. I'll post back when we get closer to see if I can nail down a date.

I got 2G's out of the R here in salina, and I just got back from KC yesterday with an '03 Z400 that I got a hell of a deal on all I need to get is a set of paddles and a back light and were good to go to the dunes.

If that's all you need, get the taillight off Ebay, and just pick up some paddles at the dunes. Jim's has the best prices you'll find on Skat Trak's. Glad to hear you got what you wanted.

Might as well be creative with the taillight. Buy some elcheapo led's and do it up. It could be really cool if you have a tail and brake light.

I think thats what I am going to do. Has any of you guys ran the Scat-Trac Edge paddles? Man those are pricey, but I like to be able to turn on the sand any other paddle suggestions would be appreciated.

They suck. My brother ran some 8 paddles on his stock Warrior and they just spun. Josh had some 9 or 10 paddle edge's on his Predator and wasn't happy with them either. If you go skat-trak, go with 8 paddle extremes and you'll do fine. Or if you want an inexpensive V-paddle, get some sand sharks from GBC. They're the sam as Sand skate II's, but alot cheaper. They hook well in a straight line and turn real nice.

mine were 10 paddle and they were horrible. I think if your wanting straight paddles and want some decent handling. I would get a set of skat trak gliders, that is also what all of the drag racers are running now.

Where can I get the GBC tires, I have been kinda leaning toward them. Hey Smokin do you ever go out by syracuse? Are those "Dunes" going to be worth a s*#t or what?

www.rockymountainatv.com has the best prices on tire and wheel combos unless you want Skat Trak, then Jim's is the best place to get them. You can get a set of sand sharks through them pretty cheap on wheels. I've always run 10" wheels, I tried a friend's on 8" wheels on my 350 and for whatever reason they didn't hook up as good as the 10" did.

Yeah I normall get otu that way at least every couple weeks for work. Yes I think it will be a nice riding area. Depends on what they do with the vegetation on how soon it becomes a nice riding area.
