Hey Glenn, I'm sure you can help me here. After the DG goes on, what jetting should I be looking at? I've heard these trikes are jetted lean from the factory, and with the clamp on Uni and the new pipe as you've suggested I will be rejetting it. Do you know what size main and pilot you're running in yours, or how many over stock it was? It doesn't put out enough power to even bother with trying to dynotune the thing. I noticed it would cut out on top even witht he stock pipe same as my Banshee did when it was running lean. So no matter what it needs to be richened up, just wondering how much bigger I should go.

I talked to one guy and he told me that the tri-zinger has a rev limiter built into them and it can be removed. I am not sure if thats true or not. I was never interested in removing it. As far as jetting goes I made a custom jet. I had a couple of old jets and I took a welding tip cleaner set and bored out a jet. The first one was to big and it boged out the second one is just right. I had the guy who ported the head send me jets and the bigest he sent me I belive was an 8 and the one I have in there that I made was bigger then that. Ill check the size of the jets tonight when I go over to my shop and post the number. Its a pain in the azz to make one. Lots of putting on and taking off and cheking the plug aftera run but thats what I did. Good luck Glenn O

The cutting out wasn't a rev limiter. It only did it every now and then when you hold it wide open it would break up and crackle real bad, but if you let off and rolled back on the throttle smooth it was just fine. Was the #8 the biggest they made, or just the biggest he had? I had a hard time even getting a tiny piece of wire through the pilot jet to clean it out. These jets are tiny!!!

The biggist jet that guy sent me was an 85. The one that is in tri zinger is bigger then that. I could not get the welding tip file through the 85 jet but it will go through the one that is in the zinger now. The welding tip files are small. You have to start real small and work your way up. It takes quite alot of work to open up the jet. Its no picnic ill tell you that. Well if you have anymore questions just ask. Glenn O

I went to the local bike shop and they said stock main jet is 92.5, and the next size up is a 95, so that's what I got was the 95. The pilot jet they said was originally a 42, or 45, but there were no other options and they don't carry either. So I guess the pilot will have to stay the same. Still waiting on my pipe to show up.
