Had a great ride Saturday evening. Went down to the sandpit and there was already 6 other quads. A few of us went down the river a few miles. The Predator always gets the bad rap when sitting around with the other quads. 2-450r's, 310r, 2- banshees, z400. The Pred ran good again leaving the sand pit at the rear of the pack and outrunning everyone to a small bridge about 5 miles east of town.
The weather was perfect this weekend both days we had nice weather 70's and no wind. I didn't get a chance to ride on Sunday.

Glad you had a good time. I'm not sure why the pred's get bad reps. I rode yours and with just the simple add ons you had it seemed to run just as good as a piped and jetted 450R. It runs strong for sure.

I think it is because they are heavier and built by Polaris. No one ever rembmers the fact that they alreayd have long travel suspension, better wheels and dura blue axle stock they make them wiegh more form the start. Sounds like in 2008 even the Predator will have a KTM engine and that will make them wiegh right in the same ballpark as all otehr sport quads.
