Anyone still come around here? My hard drive crashed on my computer, so I lost all my favs and forgot about this place.
I had also gotten out of the dune stuff, but really got the itch again to get back into it. So this weekend I'm going to check out a sand rail.

Yep still around, just not on computer much. Thinking about selling my 525 outlaw and going back to a 250R or 500R. I was going to trade it for a 2008 525S, but had second thoughts. I have had a few breakdowns and noticed more stuff wearing out, with what I call premature wear.

Ha Ha I'm still kicking! Summer was busy as hell didn't get a chance to take my bike anywhere. Then school started again, so haven't had a chance to do much. Good to hear everyone is still kicking!

Sold the rail... Im not a buggy guy afterall. In 3 hours of riding, I worked on the d**n thing 3 times. I had one stretch where I got to actually drive for 20 minutes before it broke down.
So, tomorrow Im going to pick up an '07 YFZ450 SE. I'll post some pics when I get'er home.

Your approved, board has been dead for so long forgot about that. Good to see you have a machine again.
That is funny about the rail, everyone that has one works on them all the time. I think to have a rail that is reliable it better be a higher priced one, with long travel and big trans.

Mine had a good tranny, but Im just to rough and like to hot-rod. VW based rails are not made to be hot rodded. It was just simple little stuff that kept breaking, but it just wasn't for me. I want to ride wheelies, and jump. Watching my buddies who I went to Beaver with jump their quads and drag race made me wanna get a quad again. I regret selling my shee because it was setup nice and was super reliable. I just got to hate mixing gas all the time.
I did get the YFZ home today,.. rained the entire time on me there and back. I'll get it cleaned up this week and post some pics. It runs good, not as snappy as the cannondale was, but seems to be something I might keep for a while. Its got the basics done to it.. pipe, jets intake.

Yeah thats whats always kept me from getting a rail. They always seem and I bet are a blast to drive but take lots of work to keep'em that way. My friends got a YFZ with a few things done to it, I bet you will enjoy the heck out of it. I went out to saraha this last weekend, tried to get back into the swing doing little jumps and then creepin up as the balls harden lol. Finally had to slow back down after I nearly bombed the last jump.. man these quads can fly better than the trikes. d**n wrist is spranged now though, hope its back to full working order in two weeks for my next time off hehe. Oh yeah, does the YFZ have nerfs yet? Heh I bought the wrong part for some retarded reason. And they cant just cancel it and swap it out with the correct part www.babbittsonline.com/pages/catalogs/viewproductdetailbysku/U2t1U3RhcnRzOk5lcmYgQmFy/all/20685/yamaha-gytr-nerf-bars.aspx

nah, I hate nerf bars. Those are the first things to be in the junk when I buy a quad.
